The first 3 stages change every semester, the 5th & 6th stage once a year, while the membrane and tank are replaced whenever necessary. 1st stage: FCPS5 5 mil (5 micron) sediment filter It is made of 100% pure polypropylene fibers, high capacity and removes dirt, dust, particles, rust and other sediments. 2nd Stage: Granular FCCB Activated Carbon Filter This is a high performance activated carbon filter that removes 99% of free chlorine, odor, organic pollutant particles, insecticides and chemicals. 3rd stage: FCPS20 20 mil (20 micron) sediment filter or FCCBL activated carbon Depending on the water quality, the third stage can be either activated carbon or 20 mil sediment to best prepare the water before passing through the high rejection membrane. The sediment filter is made of 100% pure polypropylene fibers, high capacity and removes chemical compounds, suspensions and other sediments that are not retained due to their size from the 1st stage. 4th Stage: TFC-75F (Thin Film Composite) High Rejection Membrane Separates 95-99.9% of dissolved pollutants, chemicals, solids, metals, bacteria and microbes from water molecules (see lead, copper, barium, chromium , mercury, sodium, cadmium, fluoride, nitrites and selenium). The pollutants are then removed through the drain. 5th Stage: Aicro-QC Coconut Carbon Post-Treatment Filter NSF approved, the effluent filter removes all odors and debris, improving the taste of the water Enrichment Stage 6th Stage: Aimro-QC Trace & Mineral Water Enhancement Filter 6th Stage adds trace elements and minerals, which are essential for the human body and favors their better absorption. Tank Water is stored in a 12.2 liter tank. Inside the tank is a balloon-like rubber diaphragm that is pre-inflated with air to a pressure of 8-10 psi. As the container fills, the air pressure increases and the water is pushed out when the faucet is turned on.
